Frequently asked questions.
How do i choose the right photographer?
Choosing your wedding photographer is about more than just beautiful photos—it’s about connection, style, and trust. You'll spend more time with your photographer on your wedding day than almost anyone else, so it’s essential that you genuinely like and feel comfortable with them. Their style should align with your vision, since photography is art and deeply personal. And while budget matters, remember that your photos are the one lasting piece of your wedding day—an investment in how your story is remembered.
What is your photography style?
Photography is art. There’s no right or wrong style—only what resonates with you. Whether it’s cinematic, documentary, light and airy, or editorial, make sure you connect with the way your day will be captured. You should be excited to see your wedding through their lens. Studio 3 Images style has been described as cinematic, storytelling and emotional.
Do you help with posing, or do you capture things naturally?
At Studio 3 Images, we believe “posing” is a dirty word—because no one wants to feel stiff, awkward, or overly staged on one of the most emotional days of their life. What couples do want is direction, and that’s exactly what we provide. Our approach is all about guiding you naturally and confidently through every moment, using subtle techniques tailored to your unique features and connection. We understand you're not professional models, and you shouldn't have to be. We’re here to make you feel at ease and look your absolute best—effortlessly.
do you enjoy photographing weddings?
We truly love what we do. After photographing over 500 weddings, it’s still such a joy to meet new couples, explore new venues, and be part of so many unforgettable moments. Every wedding is a chance to tell a unique story—and we’re honored each time we get to tell yours.
Should we do a first look?
Whether or not to do a first look is entirely up to you—there’s no right or wrong choice. But at Studio 3 Images, we’ve seen time and time again how meaningful and magical a first look can be. We don’t just have you look and kiss—we create an emotional, unforgettable moment just for the two of you. And beyond the emotion, there are real benefits: you get more time together, more photos done ahead of time, and most importantly, more time with your guests. The biggest thing we hear from couples after the wedding is, “I wish I had more time to talk to everyone.” Without a first look, we have to take all your portraits during cocktail hour, which pulls you—and your family—away from that time with loved ones. A first look gives you the freedom to enjoy your day more fully, without the rush. How many hours of coverage do we need?
what happens if you’re sick or if there’s an emergency?
In the rare event that your photographer is sick or has an emergency on the day of your wedding, you can rest assured—we have a plan in place. As a member of a professional photography organization, I have access to a trusted network of certified professional photographers who can step in if needed. These are experienced professionals who meet the same high standards we hold ourselves to, so your day will still be beautifully captured without compromise. Your wedding is too important for anything less than total peace of mind.Do you work with a second shooter?
What’s your pricing?
Of course, budget matters. But it’s also about what you’re prioritizing. After the vows are said, the cake is eaten, and the flowers fade, your photos are what remain. Investing in a photographer who can tell your story beautifully—and create images that make you feel something—is priceless. Studio 3 Images offers competitive pricing at $600/hour for two certified photographers.
How many images do i get?
Every wedding is different and beautifully unique, but on average, we deliver about 60–80 images per hour of photography. At Studio 3 Images, our focus is always on quality over quantity—we aim to give you the most meaningful, well-composed, and emotionally rich images rather than just a large number of photos. It's about telling your story with intention.
